Case Study Summer 2007
Listed Barn Conversion - Edenbridge, Kent
| When John Proud of Edenbridge was seeking an affordable solution for the specification, supply and fitting of granite worksurfaces to provide the finishing touch to his ambitious refurbishment of a listed barn in Edenbridge, he naturally chose to seek quotes from a number of reputable sources. |

Upon recommendation from his son, he got in touch with The Premier Granite Network. John recalls of his first contact:
"What immediately impressed me was the knowledge and professionalism with which my enquiry was received, as well as the personal touch provided in listening to my queries and not simply jumping to assumptions based upon just a few measurements.
I truly felt that here was an organisation that would not only provide outstanding value, but that I would be able to trust to take care of this exciting project in my home".

The Premier Granite Network was delighted to introduce John to one of its approved granite installers, Fitter Granite - a skilled team of local stone masons, operating throughout London and the South East.
The project itself was to be a complex affair, involving the installation of A-Grade Absolute Black work surfaces onto existing handmade cabinets, whilst considering the constraints put in place by the listed beams within the kitchen area. |
