Caring for your Granite Work Surface

It is just as natural that with such pleasure of ownership you will want to keep your Granite worksurface in pristine condition.

Granite, as with all natural stone products, is intrinsically porous, although it is far less susceptible to this than limestone, travertine, or marble. It is recommended that you take a few simple precautions to maintain the splendour of your new acquisition, which exemplifies the abundant beauty of nature. To this end, we have compiled some tips and advice for care and cleaning to ensure your continual enjoyment for many years to come.

Granite is of course one of the world's finite resources and ownership therefore brings with it a sense of conservation for enjoyment by future generations. It is for this very reason that following installation by our network-approved expert team of craftsmen, your granite work surface will be lovingly cleaned and sealed in preparation for general use. We farther differentiate ourselves as a network of responsible craftsmen by recommending our network-approved fitters to supply each of their customers with their own care kit to maintain their worksurfaces in tip-top condition. Each kit contains full instructions for use. It is recommended that your surfaces are re-sealed once every six months, and therefore your care kit will last for quite some time, but replacement care products are available from the Premier Granite Network Shop. Ask your installer for further details when quoted.
